This project features two types of cables set within a rib stitch pattern. The ends of the scarf contain mirrored sets of rope cables which are created when half of the cable stitches cross the other half in the same direction. In the middle at the neck there is a prominent braid cable created when sets of stitches alternate left and right in a woven effect. Bob's manly tweed version takes on a feminine feel when knit with a lighter weight, silky yarn.
